2. Introduction

This Cookie Policy (the "Policy") applies to information collected and processed via the domain name http://www.adnhc.me (the "Site"). We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about the technologies that we use. We, therefore, use this Policy to explain how your personal information and data is collected, used, and shared when you visit or interact with the Site.

3. Use of cookies

A cookie is a small text file placed on a user's hard drive. It is generated by a web page server, which is basically the computer that operates the Site. The information the cookie contains is set by the server and it can be used by that server whenever the user visits the Site. A cookie can be thought of as an internet user's identification card, which tell us when the user has returned. We use cookies to collect information and store your online preferences, to the extent legally permissible, in order to serve you better in the future.

4. Types of cookies

A list of the categories of cookies used on this Site is set out below:

  • Strictly necessary cookies :
    These cookies are essential in order to enable you to move around the Site and use its features. For example, strictly necessary cookies are required so that you can log into your account, set your preferences and complete forms. Without these cookies, services you have asked for, such as remembering your login details cannot be provided. They also ensure that our pages load quickly by distributing the workload. Strictly necessary cookies are also essential for our site to distinguish between browsers, differentiate users behind a shared IP address so as to deliver correct content, and to recognise trusted traffic and apply security settings. Certain of our strictly necessary cookies are session cookies, meaning that they expire once you exit your session and close your browser. Other of our strictly necessary cookies may last for six months or longer, for example to remember your cookie preferences for this period and to recognise trusted traffic, or for as long as you retain an online account with us.

    We use the following strictly necessary cookies, as session cookies, to enable the website to function:
    "route" is used for session stickiness;
    "careerSiteCompanyId" is used to send requests to the correct data centre;
    "JSESSIONID" is placed on the user's device during the session so the server can identify the visitor; and
    "Load balancer cookie" (actual cookie name may vary) prevents a visitor from bouncing from one instance to another.
  • Functionality cookies
    These cookies remember choices you make such as the country you visit our website from, language and search parameters such as size, colour or product line. These cookies are important for us to understand how users use and move around our Site, which inform improvements and adaptions to our Site to meet our user's needs by, for example, making the most popular features the easiest to find and access. The information these cookies collect may be anonymised and they cannot track your browsing activity on other websites. We will only set these types of cookies where you have provided us with your consent to do so by either choosing to 'Allow all cookies' or by adjusting your cookie settings accordingly. Where we process your personal information using these types of cookies, we do so on the basis of that consent.
  • Performance cookies:
    These cookies collect anonymous information on how you use our Site. For example, we use cookies to help us understand how customers arrive at our Site, browse or use our Site and highlight areas we can improve such as navigation, options and marketing campaigns. The data stored by these cookies does not show personal details from which your individual identity can be established. • Targeting cookies or advertising cookies:
    Advertising and social media cookies collect information about your browsing habits and limited aggregated demographic information in order to make advertising more relevant to you and your interests. They are also used to limit the number of times you see an advert. The cookies are usually placed by third party advertising networks. They remember the websites you visit and that information is shared with other parties such as advertisers. For example, we use third party companies to provide you with more personalised adverts when visiting other websites. You may opt-in to these cookies using your browser settings.
